With Luc Brants, artist Francesco Giordano, and emerging talents from KABK and St. Joost
On 1 November 2025, Pride Photo and BredaPhoto present a special Life Stories Talk at Clublokaal in Breda. Historian Luc Brants, artist and photographer Francesco Giordano, and a selection of emerging photographers from KABK and St. Joost will come together to explore queer histories and their ongoing influence today.
Luc Brants will shed light on how ideas about sexual and gender diversity have evolved in Breda and the West Brabant region. Francesco Giordano will discuss his project Mit Euren Spuren—a work that bridges generations through photography and memory, focusing on recent German history. Inspired by Giordano’s approach, the selected young photographers will extend this dialogue in Breda by portraying local queer residents and their stories.
Together, these voices open a space for reflection—on what it means to see, to remember, and to make queer heritage visible.
