Guangbo Li

Biography

Guangbo Li was born in Jiangjin, Chongqing, China in 1992. Mainly engaged in art creation, art projects and exhibition planning and other related work.

Photography is Guangbo Li’s main creative medium, while behavior and installation are the secondary creative media. His art projects explore the subtle relationship between time and “people”, “society” and “oneself”. His main work is “Emotion Record Museum”, a series of portrait photographic projects and exhibitions that engage in dialogue with different people. The whole project started in 2014 and is still going on, with 400,000 people participating so far. In 2016, he won the New Talent Award of Chinese Photography Art Fund in China Pingyao International Photography Festival (PIP). In 2017, he won the Outstanding Curator Award of China Pingyao International Photography Festival (PIP). In the same year, he was selected and nominated in the Chinese Contemporary Art Document.

Since 2014, Guangbo Li has planned many commercial and large-scale art exhibitions in China. Initiated several art resident and rural children welfare photography training projects. He has good cooperation with major public welfare organizations and brands. Documentaries and independent films supervised by him have been invited to participate in important art festivals and film festivals and won awards.
