Tanner Curtis is a photo editor at The New York Times focusing on politics and the 2020 Presidential election.

He joined The Times in 2014 and worked on the National desk, coordinating coverage of major news events like the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando and the Supreme Court’s historic decision legalising gay marriage. Before joining The Times, he was an Associate Photo Editor at TIME.com focusing on U.S. news, politics and sports. He studied photojournalism at Western Kentucky University.
