Maurits is a writer, editor, podcast creator, and curator. He has authored two novels, Broer (2012) and De achterkant van de zon (2016), along with his 2020 non-fiction debut, Ook mijn Holocaust. As an editor at Mister Motley, he’s known for the podcast ‘en niemand bleef onaangeraakt’, which explores the lasting impact of the 1990s AIDS crisis. Maurits also curates visual arts with a focus on intergenerational trauma.
