Exhibition PPA 2020 postponed

Due to the current situation regarding COVID19 and the authorities’ actions to stop the spread of this virus, the board of the Pride Photo Award has decided to postpone the 2020 exhibition. The event, which was scheduled from November 18th till December 13th 2020, will now take place in spring 2021.

“We understand very well that this decision is a disappointment for all the people who were already working on the exhibition” says Pride Photo director Hein-Jan Keijzer. “But organising the exhibition, with which we want to reach as many people as possible, seems very unwise and very irresponsible to us at the moment.”

The Pride Photo Foundation will now search for another method to exhibit this year’s winning and selected pictures. A way that not only minimizes health risks in the light of COVID19, but that will also reach a larger and more diverse audience, to increase Pride Photo’s social impact.
