Assitant curator at FOMU, Antwerp and Co-founder of Dis Mon Nom
Born in Marseille, Deborah CLAIRE lives and works between Brussels and Antwerp. As a graduate of ESA Le 75 in Brussels and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Déborah transitioned from photography to curation and event programmation. Co-founder with Erell Hemmer of the collective Dis Mon Nom, they organize multiple events highlighting minority communities within the cultural sector and co-curated with Zeynep Kubat the jubilee edition of Currents #10, at Marres, Mastricht. In parallel, since January 2023 she has been assistant curator at FOMU in Antwerp. There, she co-curated the 11th edition of .tiff, a professionalization program for emerging visual artists.
